Privacy policy
Unfollow Studio is designed to keep Instagram relationship data on your device. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Information the extension handles
When you start a scan, the extension uses your existing signed-in Instagram session to retrieve the account identifiers, usernames, display names, profile image references, verification status, and relationship status needed to compare your followers and following. It never asks for or stores your Instagram password.
How information is used and stored
Scan caches, candidate lists, protection lists, settings, action counters, activity logs, and relationship history are used only to provide the features you request. They are stored locally in Chrome storage on your device and are not sent to Addon Atlas servers. You can remove them by clearing extension data or uninstalling the extension.
Optional Pro license verification
If you activate Pro, the purchase email address, Lemon Squeezy license key, and a generated name for that browser installation are sent securely to Lemon Squeezy to activate and validate the license. Lemon Squeezy processes that information under its own privacy policy. Unfollow Studio stores the license state locally so it can show your plan and unlock paid features.
Sharing and sale of data
We do not sell, rent, or transfer Instagram relationship data. The only third-party disclosure initiated by the extension is the optional license-verification data described above. Instagram requests are sent directly from your browser to Instagram.
Permissions
Chrome storage permissions preserve scans and settings locally. Tab access opens Instagram, checkout, or subscription-management pages only when you request them. Access to instagram.com supports relationship scans and user-approved actions; access to the Lemon Squeezy API supports optional Pro activation.
Your choices
Scanning does not change account relationships. Dry run is enabled by default, and live actions require your review. You can pause, stop, deactivate a Pro license, clear locally stored extension data, or uninstall the extension at any time.
